Introduction to Data Science in Python, May 2021 edition

Following previous success, once again Center for Data Science (CDS) in collaboration with DATAIA organized an ‘Introduction to Data Science in Python’ workshop.

30 people from various backgrounds (physics, agriculture, astronomy, finance among others) eager to learn about how to get the most out of their data joined on 17th and 18th of May a remote workshop led by Roman Yurchak and Albert Villanova del Moral.

On the first day students were introduced to numpy and pandas before jumping into machine learning with scikit-learn on the day two.

The material was introduced during the workshop and made available to the participants for the future use.

We are happy to see the enthusiasm of the participants during the training and look forward seeing you in real life in 2022 for a new workshop.

Stay tuned.
