The department of mathematics of Ecole CentraleSupelec / University of Paris-Saclay has an immediate opening at the level of associate/full professor in the area of computer vision.

Successful applicants should have at least 5-10 years of experience as full time faculty members or research scientists. Throughout their career they should have demonstrated an excellent record in terms of research as well as their ability to lead and sustain a highly visible research activity meeting the highest international standards. Furthermore, the applicant should have a solid teaching experience in the areas of visual computing and/or data science/machine learning and/or robotics/artificial intelligence.
CentraleSupelec is one of the oldest and highest ranked engineering schools in France, funding and leading member of the school of engineering of the University of Paris-Saclay with national campuses in the greater Paris area, Rennes, Metz and international ones at Hyderabad, Beijing & Casablanca. It offers M.Eng, M.Sc and Phd degrees and has research collaborators with the leading national (Inria, Cnrs, Insem) and international academic and research institutions. Student’s admission is done through preparatory classes, a highly selective process targeting the top 0,1% of math/sciences students in France.
The position is for the Paris campus, and the successful applicant is expected to be part of the center for visual computing targeting research in the areas of machine learning, optimization, data science, computer vision and biomedical image analysis – a collaborative effort between CentraleSupelec and Inria .
